A Message from the Superintendent

This is an exciting time in your child’s life and we are extremely happy to be sharing it with you. As your child’s first teacher, you are the most knowledgeable of your child’s needs. Please stay in close communication with the school and teachers so they and your child can benefit from your insight and involvement.

We welcome your child to high school!

How to Enroll Your Student Into Bozeman High School

Please only complete this application if your student has NEVER attended in the Bozeman School District previously. If your student is returning to BSD7, please contact the registrar to re-enroll.

Part 1

1. Create an online enrollment application by clicking here **
   1. Once this application is accepted, you will receive an email with your PowerSchool login information (please note due to the high volume of enrollments, it may take up to one business week before your application is accepted)

   2. **Due to the number of current and new students we have, counselors do not have the capacity to meet individually with new students for registration. All registration information can be found on our registration website.

Part 2

Please provide the BHS registrar the following documents:

1. A copy (photocopy is fine) of your child's Certified Birth Certificate to remain with your student's records. 
2. A copy (photocopy is fine) of your child's most up-to-date Immunization Records to remain with your student's records. Immunization and vaccine information can be found on the district website here (includes information on required immunizations and exemption forms). 
3. Copy of transcript from previous school OR a copy of withdrawal grades if transferring during the academic year
4. Verification of Permanent Address in the Bozeman School District is required for all enrollments (examples include a copy of lease agreement, utility bill, buy/sell, voter registration, etc.) 
5. Any legal documents regarding guardianship, if applicable
6. Copy of IEP or 504 plan, if applicable

Part 3

Complete ALL online forms listed below:

1. Go to https://bsd7.powerschool.com
2. Click login with Parent Portal Username and Password (contact the registrar if you need your login) 
3. Once you've logged in, go to Forms and fill out the following:
   • Demographics 
   • Previous Records Release and Academic History
4. Complete the Annual Student Forms  listed below for each student. Those forms will need to be filled out every year. They can be found in the Parent Portal Account under Forms > General Forms: 

     a. Contacts and Legal Guardians
     b. Health
     c. Permissions
     d. Responsible Use of Technology
     e. Review, Acknowledgment and Consent
